Wealth Creation Program through Information Technology. HSDF on its founding mission to empower youths and women placed an awareness advertisement on a different strategic location in Enugu State to train unemployed youth and women freely on blogging and affiliate marketing.
The aim of the programme was to empower unemployed youths and women to be financially independent and empower themselves economically and also contribute to job creation in society. The program was a three (3) months training programme. It started on 23/02/2019 and ended 28/06/2019.
The program was held at his grace event hall Enugu. HSDF hired a resource person to train the attendee. Mr. Ameh who is technologist, train the youth on blogging and affiliate marketing for three (3) months. Mr. Ameh also trained the attendee on how to develop any type of blogging website using WordPress, Joomla and other open-source website from scratch.
Though, despite the advertisement for the training, small numbers of people attended mainly male. The attendees, said that this is a grace opportunity to improve himself and become useful because this is what he has been longing for, but due to lack of fund to pay for the training and buy laptop, he could not undergo the training. Mr. Ibechukwu said that now he can start a business of website development.
Another beneficiary of the training, Mr. Okoro Samuel, said he was so glad to grab this beautiful opportunity freely, and with what he had learnt, it will him to sustain himself after waiting for white colar job since he graduated from the university in 2017.
The started 9:00Am daily ended 2pm with so much positive impact on the beneficiary, the youth who attended the training.
