HSDF is co-founded by Okeke Chidi Chinwendu (entrepreneur) and Okeke Amarachi Sophia (a teacher) with join mission to help school children to have free access to reading and writing materials and also assist unemployed youths and women in the society to learn a skill for employment generation with their personal finance.
HSDF started in 2016 but legally registered with Nigeria Corporate Affairs commission in 27th June 2019 as a nonprofit making organisation.
Our mission: Working towards creating opportunities for children, youth and women to have benefit in the realm of education, quality health care delivery and programmes of economic empowerment through its initiatives.

Our leader is a pragmatic personality, and such knowledge gives us leverage over other nonprofit organizations. HSDF team is humanitarians, seeking no personal gain from our work. HSDF is a stickler to the norms of probity and accountability.
Yes, we need partners. HSDF can partner with various government agencies; international organisations, other NGOs and Government to achieve the organizations objective.
Yes. We have provision for a foreigner to visit us, such as Hotel booking, securing arrangement, flight and visa etc. You need to notify us on time for an arrangement before coming. This will help them inspect and witness what we have achieved with their support.

No, we allow donor to choose which no of people he or she wants to support or community or state you want us to implement a project. We do not allow donor to choose a particular individual to prevent fraud etc. If such a case arises, we need to conduct a background check of the individual you want to support. Why any fraudulent transaction to us will make us losing our charitable status. Our aim is to reach out to poorest families and communities to improve their living condition.

We update our donor with details report with pictures, videos during and after implementing the program.

Helpers Foundation head office is in Enugu State, Nigeria. We have volunteers all in states in Nigeria. As a duly registered entity, By law, we have the right to implement a project in any part of Nigeria. We plan to operate in another country if the need arises.
