We organized a children’s Christmas party at Helpers Foundation nursery And primary School Oji-River Enugu on 8th December 2022. The less privileged children in our school have no one to celebrate with so we thought it cool to organise an amazing Christmas party with them and share a gift. It was a joyful celebration with the parents, teachers and pupils.

The essence of the Christmas party was to give the kids a sense of inclusion during the Christmas period. We count it a wonderful privilege to plan events of giving to special children, christmas is all about family and bringing smiles to the places of the less privileged, those that don’t have. The birth of Christ is a celebration that must include the less fortunate as this event has helped provide food, clothing and provisions to support them. The joy those children felt helped us to understand that there is nothing to compare with kindness.
PURPOSE OF CHRISTMAS PARTY CELEBRATION
– It makes parents, teachers and pupils come together to celebrate.
It is a perfect opportunity to publicly recognize the hard work of parents, teachers and pupils.
– A Christmas party is a great opportunity to reflect on the school’s values.
Our focus is to touch lives by providing for the less privileged, so why not spend time helping those in need this Christmas? research shows that acts of kindness have a huge benefit to your own happiness, health and life.
The event’s climax was that we invited a Santa clause, or Father Christmas, into the school premises with gifts to present to the children. The party started with an opening prayer and reading of the school’s achieved goals and visions.
There was a welcome song and cultural dance performance by the pupils. The parents marvelled at their child’s excellent performance and activities, after the activities they danced with the Santa clause also called Father Christmas.
