Parents in Nigeria who have the dispensation of choosing often send their children to private schools over public or government-run schools transferred to online education arrangements as physical school buildings closed, due to their promising wealth. In other households, less privileged parents are forced to put their children’s education at peril because while education is free in the country, transportation, school supplies and uniforms (which are compulsory there) cannot be fit into their declining budget. The lack of formal schooling or anything to show for it is the cause of risks such as child labour, early marriage, and unwanted pregnancies that are causing a great matter of worry.
